Update your install by selecting "Check for App Update" in the Accordance menu (Mac) or Utilities menu (Win). Version 14.0.3 Improvements for the Discourse Phrasing feature Where the wrong word would be highlighted on mouseover. Phrasing Breaks would fail when following a Phrasing Indent Search highlighting was misaligned on Phrased RTL Texts. Improvements for the Live Click feature New Word Study option which follows the Live Click Types to generate proper Word Studies. LiveClick and Research would render the Entry text as RTL after amplify or workspace recall. Word Study Fixes Improved the word definition search in the default Dictionary by restricting search results to "Main" articles based on the Word Study type and default Dictionary. For example, English definitions were found in a sub article title instead of using an entry in Websters. Several NIV G/K vs Strong's coding issues with Word Definition, Text Comparisons/Graphs, and Key Number Dictionary Lookups. Added some optimizations for Searching speed. Incorrect Text translation for certain words. Bibliography Format Fixes SBL & Turabian fixed some issues introduced recently and improved a few types. APA, Chicago, and MLA were updated to support a wider range of Tool types. Number of volumes info was missing for a few types. Chicago Edited types (e.g. ACCS) were showing title codes instead of the actual title. Miscellaneous Fixes The Search highlighting color in the Tool display dialog couldn't be set. Issue that would cause Language > Diagram items to display the wrong font color. Crash when selecting certain Atlas sites. Crash that could occur when checking for updates. Crash that could occur when a parallel document is at the front. Mac Specific fixes Issue that was preventing dropbox from connecting. Misulejoha Posted December 17, 2022 Share Posted December 17, 2022 @Mike Garrity While I appreciate the fact that an update has been provided, it still seems that some of the basic features should have been fixed by now. When I try to change the text color to white in Dark Mode, it changes in the preview box and even in the text I have open. Its when I exit the program and then reopen the program the color goes back to a light greyish color. When I go back in to the text display under preference, the preview box appropriately shows the text as white (which is what I want for more clarity and readability.) but my text is unchanged. Also, when I open a text and want to change from paragraph to paragraph with space, it doesn't make the change whatsoever. In fact no changes to the text seem to work doing it that way. Lastly, I was hoping the icon bar in dark mode would have been fixed with this update. It's really challenging form a visual perspective (at least in my case) to see with clarity the icons. It is night and day in my opinion between the mac version and the windows version. Please don't get me wrong. I love Accordance. I think its an amazing product. I am very confident that these small, yet very important descrepancies, will be addressed sooner or later by the hard working folks at Accordance. They simply do not respect the user choice; and, in certain cases it seems as if one preference is controlling an entirely different preference. My primary tab opens with the correct font, but any subsequent tabs open with a generic font. When I try to change it in Set Text Pane Display , it always reverts back to the blank font choice. I just checked in my primary tab and it changed the font once from my usual font to a generic font and it won't change it back. Erhard Posted December 17, 2022 Share Posted December 17, 2022 I tried it on both Win 10 & 11 and it does not hold on either one in dark mode. I tried it by changing from preferences as well as the local gear item and setting the text display there. It does seem to work in light mode though. I have to go to the Windows Task Manager and force it to close. So I am unable to update at this point. I need to pass this info on to some fellow-ministers/friends. This is the last thing they need popping up on their screen at home or in the office. (Note the top of the box "Default display for ALL Bible and other texts.) I.e., this is where you set the universal default.
