Robin Benson
I have been making a lot of use of Robert Alter's "The Hebrew Bible: A Translation with Commentary". It's published by W. W. Norton & Co in 3 hardback volumes in a slipcase. It is, in my estimation, an excellent modern English rendition of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, with some very enlightening commentary from a Hebrew scholar. I think it would make a great addition to the available Bible texts within Accordance.
mgvh
There are a number of threads on this matter: https://forums.accordancebible.com/search/?q=alter&quick=1 It appears the publisher (and Alter?) do not want to allow digital publishing rights. Solly
I thought this was the case as well, until I saw a Kindle version (with preview) on Amazon. Perhaps there is hope yet. —Joseph
