Accordance 14 Install- Problems setting preferences with texts/tools/user notes

Sorry for posting twice, I just discovered this after I had already posted about the previous problem. I went into to preferences to change the font and line spacing and found that line spacing said 1% put the actual slider bar was at around 30%. When I went to move the slider bar and clicked okay, the background of two panels went black and the font turned red. On top of that, when I go to change the font to my default font, it the reference font always reverts back to the old font.
