V 14 is unusable for me...

V 14 is just randomly shutting down on me when I scroll through a text or commentary. I can't use it for any significant amount of time before it crashes again.

Same here.  Had horrible problems with the latest releases of Accordance 13 on Windows, but Accordance 14 seems to be even worse!  Even closing the info pane can crash Accordance!  Another symptom is that sometime it hangs, consuming 30% of the CPU and not responding.  I was really hoping that 14 would have fixed the stability issues.

Additional information would be much appreciated.  I primarily use Accordance 14 on windows, and I haven't gotten crashes just scrolling through a text or commentary.

Ever since I updated my older laptop to Windows 11, Accordance has been unstable. I was using version 13 but upgraded to version 14. It proved to be unusable as it crashed frequently. I didn't spend time troubleshooting it since I had ordered a new laptop and just thought that would fix the issue. I was wrong.. I am now using a new Dell XPS laptop running Windows 11 and Accordance 14. The program is more stable but has frozen up on me two to three times in as many hours. The last time I started it, the program recorded an error log (I've put that below). Please let me know if you hear of a solution.

Personally, I have not had any crashes on 4 different Windows computers - 3 on W10 Pro and 1 W11 Pro. The oldest is about 10 years or so, and the newest about 1 year old.

3 Lenovo Thinkpads and 1 Toshiba R950

v14 has been reasonably stable for me.

The enhancements are worth putting up with some inconveniences.

Repeated crashing however would be beyond inconvenience and I would be considering a clean install.

I have found accordance support quite helpful.

That is for sure.  Accordance' support has always been a blessing to me, even with the challenges I've faced.  I'm so grateful for both the product and company.

I have found version 14 to be a bit unstable.  It currently has the window open saying "Checking for updates" and it is stuck at about the halfway point.  Fortunately, I have multiple monitors and was able to use the software in the second monitor, as the message was in the primary monitor.  That doesn't always happen.  Sometimes the message is in the same monitor as the program and I have to use task manger to stop the software.  Running Windows 10 pro 64 bit 22H2.  I tried a reinstall, but the behavior remains the same.

Quick note.  Run Accordance in safe mode and select "Clear general settings" and then run it again.  You may need to re-register (I didn't have to), but it starts to work.
