Guntis Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Hi, Accordance doesn't import Latvian text as a new user tool correctly. Instead of Latvian character (ā, č, ē, ģ, ī, ķ, ļ, ņ, š, ū, ž) I see a Latin character and some other character. When I try to edit this text, Accordance cannot save edit text, it's asking me where the user tool is located. How can it open the tool and then ask where it is located?! After closing app and reopening it, Accordance cannot find this user tool, although it is listed in its library. Complete mess. Here's Latvian source text: http://iepriekseja.janabaznica.lv/martins-luters-par-kristiga-cilveka-brivibu/ I turned on Reader view, selected all text, copied, pasted it in the TextEdit and saved it as HTML document, then imported in Accordance as a new user too. Emmanuel Oliveiro Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Did you try and use UTF-8 (Unicode) instead of HTML?
Guntis Posted November 12, 2022 Author Posted November 12, 2022 HTML is UTF-8 <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
