Mansfield Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 Description: This session will provide a general introduction to the body of literature generally known as “Old Testament Pseudepigrapha.” We will discuss the Pseudepigrapha’s place and purpose in (1) biblical studies, (2) the era of 2nd Temple Judaism, and (3) the relationship to New Testament documents and the Early Church. Important related modules for the study of Pseudepigrapha in Accordance Bible Software will also be presented. Presented by yours truly. Registration is not open yet, but I will update this post as soon as it is. Please note that I do not claim to be an expert in the field. Nor have I read everything that would constitute the category of "Pseudepigrapha." But I love the literature, and I hope that will be apparent.
