Scott McQuinn
To whom it may concern, I just bought the Brill Dictionary of Ancient Greek for Accordance, and it appears that the "Enter a word or phrase" field does not utilize the Greek polytonic keyboard that all the other Greek modules use. In other words, if I type the letters A-K-O-Y-V in my GNT, LSJ, BDAG, etc. it appears as ακουω, whereas if I type those same letters in the Brill Dictionary, it appears as ακοψ῀. This is very problematic. Is there a way to change a setting somewhere or is it something that has to do with the coding? (I have the keyboard set to "Use Greek Polytonic keyboard layout" in the "Greek & Hebrew" tab in Preferences, which is why all the other modules work just fine. So that cannot be the issue.) Thank you, Scott
Donald Cobb
Yes, I've noticed this as well. Actually, on my Mac keyboard, the keys don't correspond to either the usual Accordance setup or the standard Greek polytonic keyboard. So It would be nice to bring this in line with something more standard. Edited March 18, 2022 by Donald Cobb
