Issues with Setting Custom Tool Display in Dark Mode

I recently started using Dark Mode on Accordance, but have been encountering a frustrating issue with setting custom colors for my Tool Display. I set the custom color, but as soon as I amplify (triple click) within a text to open a tool, the custom highlight color changes to black. This makes the highlighted text very difficult to see. If I go back into preferences and change the color, then apply the settings, it will change to the desired color. But as soon as I amplify again, it switches back to black. I am using Accordance 13.3.2 on the latest version of MacOS.
