Kristin
I apologize if this has already been addressed, but I am having some difficulty with a search. Last week I learned that I can't mix and match languages searching in Research, but I think I can if I actively open the resource in question. I am trying to search the ISBE for all the instances of אֱלֹהִים within 4 words of angel. While I can type אֱלֹהִים and also WITHIN 4 WORDS, I can't type "angel" as it types in Hebrew. If I set it to English to type it, it scrambles אֱלֹהִים. Could I please receive clarification how to do such searches in modules such as the ISBE? Thank you, Kristin
Mark Allison
I don't think you'll be able to use the WITHIN command, but you'll get very close to what you need by searching within paragraphs for the word אֱלֹהִים and the word "angel*" as in the example below. You can also set your display to Show Text As Paragraphs and add Titles to see the context.
