DarylNewton
How may I search for all the verses in the KJV or the ESV in which a Hebrew preposition is translated by a particular English word, since Strong does not number prepositions? For example, How may I find all the verse references where בְּ is translated “against” in the KJV or the ESV?

R. Mansfield
What do you mean when you say the approval is not showing up?
DarylNewton
It is OK now. Previously I was notified that my massage had been approved, but below my message it said that my message was not yet approved. So I was confused. It is OK now. Thanks. Kristin
@DarylNewton, I don't know exactly how to do what you said concerning the prepositions, but I think it is possible using a Hebrew construct? Perhaps? I am not sure. I would suggest posting it in the "Original Languages" thread.

Fabian
Thats tricky. I have used the NIV G/KE as middle. Then the KJV limited to the verses of the NIV and searched for the word against. Not really accurate. Better would be only to use the NIV G/KE. NIV 240, KJV 180, ESV 207 hits. mbcvida
if you use NIV-GKE you can search for [KEY H00928]@ against. It seems that Strongs does not assign a number to some of the prepositions. So those translations keyed to Strong's are limited - found
