nancy Meikrantz
Is it only in German or is there a translation available to English? I just purchased it as an upgrade to my Triple Learner Hebrew package and when Iopened it I discovered it is in German. I can't use it in German. Thanks for any advice NMeikrantz

Thanks for any advice NMeikrantz There isn't an English translation. However, I can't read German either, but most of the BHS Apparatus is simply the variants and associated manuscripts. c. stirling bartholomew
The Apparatus is for most part a code used for textual criticism. You should read Tov, Emanuel. Textual Criticism of the Hebrew Bible. Second Revised Edition. Minneapolis: Fortress, 2001. There is an English key to the BHS Apparatus: https://people.bethel.edu/~pferris/otcommon/Hebrew/hebrew-guides/HEBSTGD007.pdf
