Accordance opens but will not function

I am running Accordance 13.1 on a Dell laptop with the latest update of windows 10.  A few days ago Accordance stopped working correctly.  It opens but I cannot get a menus to respond, I can't open or close any tabs nor navigate to a spot in a text.  I can't even close Accordance.  In order to close it I have to open the Task Manager and tell it to force Accordance to quit.  I was running 13.0 when the problem started.  I have updated to 13.1 but the problem is still there.  One more odd thing.  When Accordance opens there are several windows showing the info on some Modules that are also open for a few seconds and then they disappear one after the other until just the Accordance interface is showing.  I use Accordance regularly but I am blocked now from being able to use it.  I will be grateful for any help.

Q: What should I do if Accordance won’t open?

A: If Accordance is crashing after opening, you may have a corrupt startup session file. Try clicking on the Accordance icon while holding down the ‘option’ or ‘alt’ key. The Accordance Safe Mode window will open. Check ‘Remove Startup Session’ and then click ‘Launch Accordance’.

If Accordance is still crashing when opening, hold down the option key or alt and click on the Accordance icon to get the Accordance Safe Mode again. This time, check ‘Remove Startup Session’ and check ‘Remove General Settings’. You will be taken back through the setup assistant and should be good to go.

BTW. The NIV G/KE is much better https://accordancebible.com/product/niv-new-international-version-2011-with-g-k-numbers-and-phrase-tagging/

See the Video. https://accordancebible.com/NIV11-GKE/

Dear Fabian.  Thank you so much for the suggestion.  I started in Accordance Safe mode and removed the startup session and it seems to have solved the problem.  That is a helpful trick to know.  God bless.
