Accordance 13.2 crashes using Live Click to Study a Word

Working through tutorials one by one.

Accordance crashes 100% every time after clicking a word in the text using Live Click to Study a Word.

Both windows open (ie Lexicons and Word Usage) but Accordance crashes right out before any progress can be made - takes about 5 seconds after the click.

iMac 24" (2021)

M1 chip

16GB, 1TB

macOS Big Sur 11.4

Accordance 13.2.0

Same here (MBA M1) … this feels more like a beta on M1 than a stable release to be honest.

I have the same problem since installing 13.2, I'm using a MBA M1. Is there any talk about what might be wrong and if there is a patch coming soon? The M1 optimisation is great, performance wise when running intense searches.

Couldn't find an installer to go back to... The most recent version I've got was 13.1.5...

Running 13.2 in Rosetta might be the workaround at the moment. Select the App hit cmd-i and check the box where it says "Open with Rosetta" or something similar.

MBA M1 and same problem as others are sharing--constant crashing. \

I have  13.1.7 downloaded but I don't actually understand how to install it so as to replace 13.2.

Thank you - this worked perfectly for me. The app appears more stable in Rosetta and I can't detect any hit on performance - still lightning fast.

It's just occurred to me that crash reports from M1 macs may possibly be producing complete nonsense.  This one appears to be outputting random data as far as my attempt to decipher it.

If you can try to reproduce in Rosetta and post that crash report, I'd appreciate it.

The 13.2.1 update fixed this crashing problem on my MBA M1. Thank you!

It does not crash in Rosetta mode … only M1 native
