How do I search for all the different words a particular word is translated as?

Hi, 

 

Apologies if this is too simple a question but i couldn't find it under "analytics" and couldn't quite work it out. 

1. How do I find, for example, all the different ways ἐκκλησία in USB is translated in the english bible (ESV). 

2. along the same vein, how do I find all the words ἐκκλησία in the LXX came from the BHS/HMT (eg. "qahal" קָהָל or "edah" עֵדָה)

 

Is there a way which Accordance can display this in a table? eg. of 111 occurances of ἐκκλησία, gathering (15), church (70), assembly (20) (made up numbers as example)

To your first question

• Find an instance in the ESV where it is rendering εκκλησια as you can see with the cross highlighting.
• Right click on the ESV word
• Choose to search for Key Number
• Open Analysis

Thank you mgvh!! That answered the first question (but I must say, that is NOT very intuitive from the software...)

I hope someone can help answer the second question too. Any Accordance pros out there?

Hi Chuan,

In the analysis if you select either Bar or Chart from you search and then change the drop down on the upper right to Word you will get your chart.
