The programmer has looked at the Android app, and it's a little more complicated than a weekend improvement to ensure full compatibility with more recent versions of Android. However, the work he's doing at the moment will pay off for Android (and iOS) users.

I didn’t ask for full compatibility. Just one minor update to prove what you say is accurate.

I found out that a workaround for those who have issues installing it from the Google Play Store can sometimes download the app directly from our website. It'll sometimes still install/launch when downloaded from our website, even if the Play Store balks at it.

Still staying tuned. Any developments?

Right now continue to download directly from our website or the Amazon AppStore if you're unsuccessful with the Google Play Store.

We'll post any app update announcements to "Accordance Announcements".

My first post!   As a 30 year software guy I can tell you there is never anything simple.    To say the app is compatible with specific versions, they want you to use current APIs and platform.   It's not just mark it as compatible with latest Android version.   It doesn't work like that and if something is not maintained for 2 years - you have a big problem to try and 'update or make compatible'.   AND you need someone who knows the current code, can update it, test it and release it.   Truly that can be 6 months of work - $150k for a contractor.   Yes you can send it offshore and take 12 mos for $100k.    The point - it is always painful and complicated.

To the person who said no to PWA (Progressive Web) - well that is sad.  The reason is you can use one platform and never have to update code in the app stores.  It can be all server driven.   Yes you can do that with native apps too but then you are maintaining 10 platforms (desktop, mobile x Apple, Windows, Android... )

I don't have anything to announce at the moment. When I do, I'll post an update under "Accordance Announcements".
