How to Switch to Book, Chapter, Verse Very Quickly?

Hello,

 

I am brand new to Accordance. How does one change to a different book or chapter or verse quickly or all three combined? Every Bible program I have ever used, desktop and mobile, has a very easy way to do this including Bibleworks.

 

Please don't tell me I have to type it in every time.

In desktop Accordance you need to type...

 

But it's actually way quicker than navigation (IMHO)

 

you just do an abbreviation and the verse...

 

Rev 2:1 is much quicker (for me) than a 3 clicks with navigation between each one.

 

But I know we're all different.

Hi Richard

I definitely agree with you. I typically use my mouse a lot more and it is a nuisance to have to go to the keyboard to type it in. Apparently the next version is supposed to have this feature.

You can mouse navigate. In the bottom right of a pane, click on the arrow to the right of the book ch:vs. That opens list to choose book.

Then use Vs Ch Bk up/down arrows on bottom left to get to precise location.

Thank You, I am aware of that, but that is even more of a nuisance when you want to get to a chapter like 40 or 50. It would just be nice to have a chapter and verse selector like pretty much every other Bible program
