Footnotes/Superscripts?

I'm sure there is a simple solution to my problem, but I just want to be able to view the superscript/footnotes. When there is a OT quote in the NT, there is a small "a" or "b" etc, next to it. How do I view what the footnote is referring to?

You do not say which text you are using, but if there are footnote markers (and sometimes when there are not) there will be a parallel reference tool with the notes for that text. If you open that in a parallel pane in the same search window, you will always have the note for the verse at the top of the window.

I'm just using the TNIV Bible. When reading in Romans 9, for example, Paul quotes the OT a bunch. How do I see what the OT passages are that he is quoting? You mentioned the parallel pane. How do I open the parallel pane?

There is an Add Pane label on the right of the Search window. Click and hold the middle button to see the available Notes and commentaries, and select TNIV Notes from the list.
