mgvh
I feel as if I'm missing something obvious, but I can't find an answer in the Help or in this forum. I conduct a search Not all the hits are relevant, so I send the ones I want to a reference list Now I want to just search the results in that list. QUESTION: How can I search the results in my reference list? Using HITS does not work. I can't see how to convert the list to any kind of searchable text. Is there another way to accomplish what I'm trying to do? Thanks!
ScottDF
I just finished watching Joel Brown's Webinar and there he said that you can use Find to search within a Search. I didn't know that and am looking forward to trying it. I hope this is what you are looking for.
Λύχνις Δαν
Reference lists are lists of verses. Use [CONTENTS reflisttabname]. Or INFER apparently. See below http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/Win13/Default.htm#topics/05_dd/the_reference_list_tab.htm Thx D
R. Mansfield
Kind of like this (screenshot of 13.2 in action) search within a reference list. And if you haven't seen Joel's presentation of 13.2 yet, be certain to check it out.
mgvh
Ah, yes. I watched the 13.2 preview. Using the Find will help, but it won't give full search (Flex or root...) capabilities. @Dan: Yes, the CONTENTS command was the one I was trying to think of. Open a new tab with the text of choice Use [CONTENTS reflist] <AND> _____ < search term That does it! Thanks!
