In many Strong tagged texts, the word Deliverer is not tagged properly.

Must be mosûiya{

  • HansK changed the title to Judges 3:9 > Deliverer not tagged properly

Translators will generally use a single English word to translate many Greek and Hebrew words. So "deliverer" can be translated from the following words (ESV):

At the same time "moshiya'" is not always translated "deliverer." Sometimes it's translated in the following ways (ESV):

OK, true. But I referred to a specific text.

To clarify, HansK is correct -- the cross-highlighting (which follows the tagging, correct?) jumps from the word "deliverer" to the following same-root-based verb "he delivered them" three Hebrew words later.

Unfortunately there are many such errors. I do my best to send them to Accordance.

When the Hebrew word has more than one meaning, the program has a problem.

The main reason to keep a paper lexicon available..... e.g. the one from Carta.
