Kristin
If I open My Notes as a parallel, it works fine. If I open it as a new tab in order to search it, it crashes. I have tried restarting Acc, and also restarting holding shift. No matter what I do it crashes. I have tried open another notes file as its own tab and that works fine. Any help would be appreciated. Kristin
Oh, never mind, I figured it out. I went to Settings and changed the startup session form "Last Session" to "default search tab," closed accordance, re-opened it and now it is working. I am sorry for not figuring this out before I posted.
Fabian
In my opinion to submit crashes is always good. This helps to improve the stability of Accordance.
Silas Marrs
If at all possible, please post the text of the crash log. I can't copy/paste text from an image!

Hi Silas, That makes sense. Could you let me know how to access the crash reports? I was looking for them and can't figure out where they are. Thank you for your help, Kristin
Silas Marrs
In Finder, hit Shift-Cmd-G, then paste this string in to go directly to the folder: ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

Kristin
I just wanted to mention it happened again. If I add My Notes as a parallel, everything is fine. And if I open something OTHER than My Notes (such as another notes file), everything is fine. But If I try to open My Notes as its own tab it crashes. cordance Crash Log 12.06.21, 10:52:41 Accordance 13.1.7 (13.1.7) MacOS 11.3.1 Message: Access violation Address: $00000001003AA27A Backtrace: 0 acord 0x00000001003aa27a acord + 2495098 1 acord 0x00000001005a3cc9 acord + 4566217 2 acord 0x00000001005a6b51 acord + 4578129 3 acord 0x00000001005a73f4 acord + 4580340 4 acord 0x00000001005a880b acord + 4585483 5 acord 0x00000001005adace acord + 4606670 6 acord 0x00000001005acb94 acord + 4602772 7 acord 0x00000001005aca05 acord + 4602373 8 acord 0x00000001005ac818 acord + 4601880 9 acord 0x0000000100442ddc acord + 3120604 10 acord 0x0000000100445270 acord + 3129968 11 acord 0x00000001005a9df3 acord + 4591091 12 acord 0x00000001007b0b6a acord + 6716266 13 acord 0x00000001007b5fbb acord + 6737851 14 acord 0x00000001007b6233 acord + 6738483 15 acord 0x00000001007b604f acord + 6737999 16 acord 0x00000001008fe1a2 acord + 8081826 Binaries: 0x0000000000149000 /Applications/Accordance 13.app/Contents/MacOS/acord 0x00007ffdffe78000 /Library/Apple/usr/libexec/oah/runtime 0x000000010a947000 /Applications/Accordance 13.app/Contents/Frameworks/ZipArchive.framework/Versions/A/ZipArchive 0x000000010a9dd000 /Applications/Accordance 13.app/Contents/Frameworks/Sparkle.framework/Versions/A/Sparkle 0x000000010aafd000 /Applications/Accordance 13.app/Contents/Frameworks/ObjectiveDropboxOfficial.framework/Versions/A/ObjectiveDropboxOfficial
Kristin
I just needed to post that I am having the same issue where "My Notes" crashes if I open it as a tab. Opening it as a parallel is fine, as before. ScottDF
These crash dumps are somewhat better sent directly to tech support. The forum is mostly users and just frequented by support staff.
