Highlight And Share Improvements

I will very often make a highlight in text or tool but then also share that bit of text to an external application (Copied- for simulating stacks). When I select some text, I want to be able to further interact with it beyond just the initial action.  But, as it is, I have to select the text a second time to share it to the external application. I want the text to remain highlighted and remain in a state where I can tap on it to bring up the black action bar (I don’t know what it is actually called).  Currently, the text might remain selected but when tapped it just toggles the window chrome. I would expect tapping outside of the bounds of the selected text would deselect the text.
