Root quick entry list and “Enter Root Forms...” menu offer roots outside the NA28

In the NA28, with the search option set to words, the quick entry menu seems to display roots which are at the root of no words in the NA28. Same for the “Enter Root Forms...” dialogue box that you can reach by holding the option button before clicking on the “Search” menu at the top of the screen.

For example, the root τὸ ἔαρ only occurs in the Septuagint, but it appears in the quick entry list and in the “Enter Root Forms...” dialogue box for the NA28. Is this deliberate? Should the database of roots not be limited to the roots that have words in the given text?

Normally, for every other word list, whether in an English text, or for the inflected and lexical form lists for the GNT and for the HMT, the list only contains words that actually occur in the text.
