Problem launching app full screen

Accordance is the only app I use that throws a fit when I close it in full screen (fine) but then start the app again (which triggers the app to attempt full screen). The app tries to open full screen, shoves me over to that screen, I get an OS error sound (like a click or something in macOS 11) then opens on the desktop. Every time, without fail. This has been a problem for as long as accordance has supported full screen. Literally every other app I have which I use in full screen (or even another monitor) opens just fine full screen and in its proper place (including the 'other' guys, which I don't use nearly as often).
