Tim Hall
I am not sure if this has been requested before (I searched but didn't find any). It would be amazing if we could highlight in a User Tool. Not sure what challenges this would have from a programming angle, but it would be cool.
Mark Allison
You can convert a User Tool to a regular Tool, and then you can highlight it. You do this by opening the User Tool, clicking on the icon that looks like a cog wheel, and selecting "Convert User Tool to Tool".
JonathanHuber
Converted user tools don't sync via Dropbox though, so you'll need to use Wifi sync to transfer it to iOS.
Guest
Thanks for the info, but it doesn't fit my need. The tool in question is for my sermons, so I am updating and changing it constantly.
mariowlima
Could the standard tool be wifi sync'ed from Accordance in windows 10 to iPadOS 13.7? Two different OS but thought I ask anyway, just in case. Or, could a user tool be converted to a standard tool within iPadOS Accordance app? Basically I'd like the functionality of highlighting a user tool in iPadOS as I can't convert user tool to tool in iPadOS neither can I sync via dropbox a standard tool which was initially converted from user tool.
Guest
I am not sure if you can wifi sync or not between a windows machine and an iPad. Give it a try ... see what happens, then let us know.
mariowlima
Hi, sorry for taking so long to reply. It did work with some caveats. Accordance will crash if there are modules on both devices (no overwritting possible) when you are syncing them (PC <-> iPad), so in the end I had to do it several times, identify which modules weren't working, untick those from the sync option and finally sync the two devices/OS's. A very long and tedious process, but the end result was good.
