Papers font color doesn't obey Paper Display settings

I just started using Papers today and discovered an annoying bug.

I'm using Accordance 13.1.1 on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 with Dark Mode on, with Accordance set to conform its Theme to the system's Mode.

In my Paper, each time I click the "Add new text item," that item should be formatted according to the settings in Paper Display. Yet each new text item created has black font (the setting shows New Text Item color to be White; it was defaulted that way to begin with, as would be expected when Accordance is in Dark Theme). Each new text item I create, I must click blindly in Paper's settings bar to find the button for Color which is black on a dark bar, in order to change it to white.

Desired fixes:

1. Can the font color in the settings bar just above the Paper text have a border around it so it's visible even if it IS black? That border color could be light in Dark Theme, and dark in Light Theme.

2. Of course, please make New Text Items have the color specified in Paper Display.

Thank you!

Chris
