henryaukc
Hi All, I am new to Accorandance and would like to ask how to search all the verb with a specified pronominal suffix. I know that Accordance considers the Hebrew suffixes a separated word but what if I want to search all the verbs with specified pronominal suffix attached? All I can come up with is the below, but it gives me more than I want, I want all the 1cp perfect verb with second pronominal suffix attached but not in different places of the verse: [verb perfect first common plural] <and> [suffix second ] The below wont work too: [verb perfect first common plural] @ [suffix second ] Please advise. Thanks a lot
Joel Brown
Since the suffix is a separate term, you don’t want to use the @ - this means they are the same term. You also don’t want , as this is to find them within the same verse (or bigger). Simply list them one after another, like a phrase, so show the suffix must immediately follow the verb. e.g. [VERB perf] [sUFFIX sec]
