Pen Highlighting bugs

At several points in my exegesis, I've discovered that some pen highlights won't mark up what you want it to mark up.

 

For example, sometimes an underline of a word will mark it longer than you want—sometimes by several words. 

 

Another example: Ellipses go huge—way bigger than the single word I'm trying to circle. See the massive red ellipsis here.

 

A firm squashing of this bug would be greatly appreciated as I love the pen feature!
