Settings selections not giving user feedback in popup settings windows.

So a bit of explanation for the topic title above. When in Accordance settings I choose an option from the hamburger menu I get my selection highlighted in the theme colours in order to give me feedback as to my selection. For example if I choose Settings --> Text Display --> Background each step will highlight the option to provide feedback as to which option was selected

However whenever a popup menu appears I don't get the same feedback. Now I know the option will change in settings after the popup closes but I feel for consistency it would be good for pop up selections to follow the same behaviour.
