Jan Klein
In Evans pseudoepighrapha, I found a text in Sol-A (Solomon A in Greek). I want to know the date of the original (Greek?) text, but I don't know if Sol-A refers to the ode of Solomon, the psalms of Solomon or the will of Solomon of some other work of Somomon. Can someone tell me where I could find more information about this? I can't find anything in the Accordance program nor on the Accordance website, even not a table of contents of the book at Amazon… With kind regards, Jan
Abram K-J
I don't know if this will help you with dating the text, but some of the info you seek is in a stand-alone module called, "Accordance Module Info" (Read-Me Modules). If you go to your library and type in "read me," it will come up. That module has this info (and similar info for other texts in Accordance). 15 Testament of Solomon A/B/C/D [sol_A,Sol_B, Sol_C, Sol_D, Sol_A] C. C. McCown, The Testament of Solomon (UNT 9; Leipzig: J. C. Hinrichs, 1922) 5-75. Recension A Accordance 1.1-26.8 Recension B Accordance 1.1-1.2 Recension C Accordance 1.1-1.2 Recension D Accordance 1.1-1.2
Jan Klein
This is exactly what I needed (for now and in the future). I had read about readme, but never really understand how to use it. Thanks Abram
