A. Smith Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 There seems to be something wrong with the link command (at least between lexicons) in 13. My typical set up has 3-4 lexicons all linked to BDAG. When I search for a word (even something as innocuous as kai) I get a warning that "These words (or verse references) were not found in the tool “BDAG”." What I see is that the linked researches aren't actually searching and the error comes specifically when trying to search the lexicon with the command [Link BDAG]. Btw, this isn't specific to BDAG. It occurs with any linked lexicon in any language. I've run a set up with lexicons linked in series for years and never had this problem. I think something may be amiss in v 13.
Mark Allison Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Thanks for the report. This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next update, which will be delivered asap 1
LW3 Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 (edited) Just wondering if there is a recent status on the LINK command? I've tried using it over the past several days but with no success ... still broke. I saw a Youtube video (Workspaces: Creating, Designing, Saving, and Using Workspaces for Beginners by Richard Perry) that suggest it's working but I've had no luck. Many thanks! JonathanHuber Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 It's working for me. I linked two Greek lexicons and a search in the first showed up in the second also. Can you give more details about what's not working for you?
Silas Marrs Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 LW3, are you running the latest version of Accordance? We released 13.1.1 last night, and there may be fixes involving the LINK command. What search are you trying, and in what way is it not working?
LW3 Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Salis For whatever reason I was still on Accordance 13.0.5 (on my macbook air) but my iMAC was updated to 13.1.1. So there is no problem with the LINK command as 13.1.1 is working nicely. Thank you! Jonathan, that you too for responding! Lawyer 1
