NIGTC and other tools in Library

I've typed Beale in the library search box, and I see NIGTC is listed, but when I double-click NIGTC it opens to the last place NIGTC was open, and not to Revelation (which is by by Beale).

Is there a setting I can change to make it do what I expect? So If I type Clinton and open ZECNT it will open at Ephesians.

Thanks

Try using the Amplify menu from your selection. It will display the term in the first English field in which it finds it, but it might work for you.

Hi Helen,

I'm missing something here: I don't have a selection, and the Amplify menu is all greyed out.

What I can do is search by Author inside NIGTC etc, but then it becomes a two-stage process.

Basically, I'm wanting to check what Beale has to say about something, only I cannot remember which series the Beale commentary is in.

I have 103 commentary modules so a quick way to find Beale or Clinton Arnold or Craig Keener would help!

Thanks

You are right, I misread your OP. I tried searching Commentaries in Research but it searches all the English fields. Maybe in the future we can allow specific field name searches there. One reason that's tricky is that field names aren't always consistent between tools.

Your idea of combining the Library search with the open is interesting but might have unexpected consequences so it might need to be a special open function.
