Update option on long press on Accordance app

Greetings,

 

When one long presses on Accordance app icon, there is a list of options such as go to verse, search, store and others. It would be nice to have the option of update. I find myself doing this more often. Thanks.

As in to update the program itself? You can turn on automatic updates in Settings: iTunes & App Store: Automatic Updates: App Updates. 

 

I looked at a few mainstream apps and didn't see an update option for long press on any of them. Adding that may be seen as non-standard by Apple and might not be approved anyway. I've had fairly consistent success with updating apps by simply turning on automatic updates.

Richard, thank you for clarifying this, what i needed to specify is that the request for resource update not the app update.

Ah. So a long press would take you to the update section of Easy Install. Interesting idea.
