Biblesearcher
I downloaded 8.0.3 OS X and installed it last night. However, I notice that the Greek and Hebrew fonts don't display correctly. They display as strange characters. When I put my mouse over NIV-G/K, the Greek and Hebrew at the bottom all messed up with weird characters. Also the Greek and Hebrew in the Notes or commentaries are not displaying correctly. Before this update, Greek and Hebrew were okay. How do I fix this Greek and Hebrew displaying problem? Please help. Thanks.
Helen Brown
We have now posted 8.0.4, so first download that and install it. If you still have problems, download the FontFixer for version 8 from the same page, and run that. You probably have old fonts somewhere that FontBook is accessing. The Accordance Fonts PDF explains how to tackle them if FontFixer fails.

Rod Decker
I had the same problem when installing HALOT this week. I assume it installed older fonts. Reinstalling v 8 fixed it. (Of course, that was the day before 8.0.3 was released, so I then had to install again; and now there is 8.0.4... Four installs in one week! sigh.) I would be helpful to update the installer on HALOT (and perhaps other such tools) to avoid this problem. The HALOT installer also says that it is going to install an older version of Accord. (don't remember which one, 6.x or 7.x?). Thankfully, it did NOT do what it said it was going to do and v 8 remained intact--though it did install the old fonts. The wording of the installer might be revised to say "... unless a newer version is already installed."
