How to look up if a verb is typically a certain tense? (And complementary Inf.)

Hi Everyone,

 

Two questions: 

 

1) How can I look up if a Greek verb lexically prefers to be in one tense? 

- I know that certain verbs lexically prefer the aorist or present tense, but when I'm reading the GNT, how can I tell if a certain verb prefers that tense or if the author is emphasizing the aspect? Is there a way to look this up on accordance? If so, how and what resources are needed?

 

2) How can I look up if a verb typically takes a complementary infinitive of a particular tense?

I'll tackle #1.

 

Search for the verb's lexeme, then open Analysis. Change the display to sort by tense, then sort by Count down. See the screenshots:
