Library: Sort by and show modules sizes

It would be nice if I could see storage used by each module and sort by size (to easily figure out which modules could be candidates for removal when my iPad runs full) ...

This would be handy on either of the mobile platforms where resource can be constrained.

 

Though hopefully on Android we'll be able to offload the data location to SD Cards so would then not be so necessary.

I agree that this would be a nice addition for resource management.

 

BTW, an existing technique for resource management is to use WiFi syncing. This does involve using your desktop, but the sync dialog does list the module sizes (not sortable) and allows you to remove large modules.

You also get the resource size when you easy install it. (It’s what I use to decide whether to install it in the first place.)

 

the size could easily be added is addition to the version number on the information page?

I'm using wifi sync yes. The need arises afterwards, when iPad is getting filled up, need to free a GB or three ...
