The screen shows one character, but the text is actually another (occurred with the "-" character). Some times only part of the file opens to edit. Hoover Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 In terms of the first issue, see this thread, especially the last post for an quick way to force the text to revert to the correct characters. It's true that the editor only opens up a portion of the User Tool; it's always been that way. In the "Edit Windows" preference pane, you can specify what size editing block is opened (small, medium, or large). I've noticed the T markers disappearing, too. Not sure what that's about.
