Random Line Breaks in User Notes (iOS) - iPad Pro (2nd Gen)

I recently upgraded from iPad Air 2 to the iPad Pro (2nd Gen) and am experiencing behavior in User Notes, not previously seen on the Air 2. For some reason random (at least they appear random) line breaks are showing up. These line breaks are not visible on my iMac. Also, if I open the User Note for editing on the iPad, the line breaks are not there. It appears to be some kind of rendering bug. Any ideas?

Update: Today I opened the "Sample notes v2" file just to see if this affected my personal notes only. As you can see in the attached screen capture, the same behavior is present in the Sample notes.
