"Accordance not responding" message in Windows 8.1

For many months and a few versions or more I have been getting an "accordance not responding message" from windows when I start up accordance and when I run content update.

 

Often windows will offer me the option to cancel accordance, wait for it to respond or some other things that I forgot.

 

I usually answer to wait for it to respond.

 

Anyone else get this?

 

Oak Tree guys, any clues?

Check that your login username and password are correct.

Then perhaps you shopuld contact support directly for a screenshare session to troubleshoot the connection.

They helped and so far we think it is due to internet busy-ness during the time that I use it but it is an educated guess.

 

Also could be an 8.1 issue

Setting the Accordance compatibility property to "Windows 8" got rid of this problem.
