Steve King
Automatic verse linking does not work for references that have a full stop after the book name so for example 1 Tim 1:5 works 1 Tim. 1:5 does not work The example with the full stop does work if done individually. Tony Lawrence
Thank you Steve! At least I have a work around now. I always put a period after an abbreviation and the automatic linking broke for me in the 12.2.2 update. So I have been doing manual linking for each reference. This is tedious. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
Steve King
I thought someone had mentioned automatic linking not working it's just that I couldn't find the discussion. I don't use the full stop it was just that something I copied had a reference like that and didn't work. Anyway glad you have a work round. As you say I'm sure it will soon be fixed. Tony Lawrence
I just realized that this was in the Bug Swatters for "Windows." The same bug exists on the Mac side. References used with the period after the abbreviation like Heb. vs Heb will not auto link. I assume that the administrators caught this but thought I had better make that clear since my comment was in the wrong section.
Steve King
Glad you noticed that because I did mean this to go on the MAC bug swatters.
