accord
Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone else may be experiencing this issue. Having two resources in separate zones, tied together, then wanting to scroll in one while the other resource stays in place, click on 'remove all ties' – still tied, no longer working. Closing Accordance, closing workspace and opening new workspace, restart laptop, shut down laptop, has no effect on this issue.

Helen Brown
We cannot reproduce this on our Macs. Please supply more information or screenshots. The menu item works in all ways for us.
accord
Helen, here are screenshots of the behavior: #1: #2: having clicked on 'Remove All Ties' nothing changes – see #3 below #3: it seems as if the 'tie' icon becomes grey after clicking on 'remove all ties'. Normal behavior is for the 'tie' icon to disappear. Edited June 1, 2016 by accord
accord
After more detective work – trashing the app, reinstalling the app, found no change in behavior. I realized there are two menus to access "Remove All Ties"; one found under 'Window' on the menu bar, and one found in the dropdown of the 'tie' icon of the resource. See screenshots: #1: under 'Window' which works!!!! #2: from the 'tie' icon dropdown which does not work any longer. hope this helps
Joel Brown
Out of curiosity, if you go to Preferences -> Workspaces and uncheck "Hide tab area if only a single tab", does the tie icon dropdown start working for you?
accord
Hi Joel, Out of curiosity, if you go to Preferences -> Workspaces and uncheck "Hide tab area if only a single tab", does the tie icon dropdown start working for you? Unfortunately no. Same behavior as my last post – click on 'tie' icon to remove tie does not work, while using the menu under "Window" works. Thanks for the idea.
