Syncing with device not going anywhere

I am on a Yosemite iMac. I believe I have an iPhone 4. All the software and OS I have are on the latest update.
Recently, Accordance updated Hengstenberg's Christology of the OT and it would not sync with my iPhone. The wheel just turns and the bar indicates no progress at all. Now it is happening with the update of the NRSVS. I would appreciate help.

With an iPhone 4, I think the latest update is iOS7 and Accordance Mobile v1.7.9, correct?  I suggest that you call our Tech Support line at (407) 339-0266, M-F from 9 AM-6 PM Eastern to take a closer look at why your iPhone 4 is failing to sync.

I was wrong, it's an iPhone 5. The iOS is 9.0.2 and the Accordance Mobile is 2.2.2.

Alright, I'll give them a try when I have the time.

Did you try Clearing the Download Cache in Settings/Accordance on the iOS.
