Copying Peshitta and text Direction

When copying and pasting the PESHNT-T or the BHS-W4 or any right to left text into Pages, it goes left to right if I use the short-cut, Command+Control+C and then paste. If I hit Command+C and then paste, it remains right to left.

 

Am I doing something wrong?

 

I am using Accordance 7.1, OSX 10.4.8, Pages 2.0.2

 

It seems like I saw this discussed before, but couldn't find the thread. Thanks for the help.
