Elijah
Accordance 10.4.2.2 on Windows 8.1 x64 When I try to search for 1Kön in German bibles like ELBER-LEM or SCHLA2K nothing is found. There seems to be a problem with book-names that contain non-english characters, because in ELBER-LEM I can search books using German names as long they contain characters like ö. For Example "Richter" works as well as the english word for that - "Judges". Update: To be more precise the window that pops up says something like: not enough characters in entry "1K", to determine which book is meant. So everything starting with the character ö (in 1Kön) is not used in the search. Edited June 14, 2014 by Elijah
Fabian
Elijah
(Accordance 10.4.3.1) There are also issues like it's possible to enter gen, but not genesis. Regardless of that, not being able to use special (German) characters in book names is an obvious bug in Accordance. Not being able to search for a verse reference in a bible software... what could be more essential.
Helen Brown
We are working to improve the entry of non-English book names throughout Accordance. Thanks for the report. Please be sure to keep the program and the texts current with the latest versions.
Elijah
In the Elberfelder translation (ELBER-LEM) there is also an issue with some chapter searches. For example ex 30 or deut 13 only displays the first verse of the chapter.
