  1. SONCINO CLASSIC COLLECTION: (Talmud, Midrash, Zohar, and other modules) I would like to see the Soncino editions of the Talmud, Midrash, and Zohar (both Hebrew and English translations) added to the Accordance collection of modules. I have these as a separate searchable program (Soncino Classic Collection) originally developed and sold by DAVKA, but that organization has now gone out of business. It is time now for the Accordance folks to contact Soncino and make a deal with them to move their modules over into Accordance. That would be a win-win for everyone.

    Tying Mishnah and Talmud Windows

Maybe this isn't even possible, but I was hoping to tie my English Mishnah and Babylonian Talmud windows together, but I can't seem to do it. I have the "Tie Scrolling" option selected, but it doesn't seem to work. Is it possible to tie these two modules together, or am I doing something wrong?
  3. For us who work with rabbinic sources would be very useful to expand the literature available, including the Jerusalem Talmud in hebrew and the midrashim collection in both hebrew and english translation. Thanks
  4. I would like to request the developers re-code rabbinic modules: T-YERU-E (Jerusalem Talmud English), T-BAV-EF (Babylonian English Folio), and TALMUD-N (Talmud English, Neusner), etc. from TOOLS to TEXTS so that they can scroll together with their related rabbinic TEXTS modules: MISH-T (Mishnah Tagged, Kaufmann), MISH-N (Mishnah English), and MISHNAH (Mishnah, Eshkol), etc. At present, other Extra-biblical source modules are coded as TEXTS (whether original language texts or English translations of them): DSS, Pseud, Philo, Josephus, NT Apoc, Apost Fathers, etc. Thus, the precedent has been established; and this separation of the translations (as TOOLS) from their TEXTS breaks with precedent and reduces the ease and value of the modules. PS: I sure do love Accordance 11--great work! This request would make it even better.
  5. In Neusner translations of the Talmuds, as well as in other future translations of rabbinic sources (like Midrashim), would be very useful to include the traditional folio/side division, that is the standard for quoting Talmud and Midrashim: chapter, page, side, line (cf. 'The SBL Handbook of Style'). If you are doing scholarly research and should look up for a reference quoted in such a way in Accordance, is quite confusing and time wasting if the digital texts or translations have a different one.
