  1. Hi, all, I want to print a copy of one chapter to PDF. (Or, alternatively, copy to clipboard so I can paste it into a another app.) I get this warning. I have a hunch what it's saying is that the whole book (!) would be printed. How can I select a chapter without – I would hope – having to click and scroll through it all? Seems it should be possible to click on the one chapter in the table of contents and do it that way. Thanks for any help you can offer! I did end up clicking OK, and after Accordance just about overheated my computer and sent me the multi-colored beach ball a-spinning, it seems it allows me to print 30 pages, but it starts at the beginning of the book.
  2. I am using Accordance 12.3.4 under MacOS 10.13.6. When I print a diagram I have created, I cannot always get everything on the page to show up in the preview. The only way to get everything to print is to play around with ungrouping groups. I have not been able to detect a pattern to this problem. I have attached screen shots from my most recent example. The 1.48.42 screen shot shows the groupings I have in the diagram tool. With everything unselected, the print preview is the 1.37.33 screen shot. If I ungroup the group at the bottom of the page (and unselect everything) then everything on the page prints, as seen in screen shot 1.37.59. This problem has been going on for well over a year. Another bug that shows up in the first screen shot is that scaling in the diagram tool is inaccurate. I have the diagram scaled to 50% to see it all in the screenshot. When I do so, the bottom diagram does not fit within the bottom blue margin, even though when I view at 100% or print, it fits just fine. (I have the page size set to 12.75" x 16.5"). Scaling does not appear to be consistent in the X and Y directions. This can be seen in the fact that the diagram stays within the side blue margins when scaled. This scaling problem also shows up when trying to precisely align diagram elements vertically while scaled at anything outside of 100%. It may look aligned, but then print wrong. Or it may just be impossible to align two elements. The offset is smaller than one click of an arrow key. Finally, a minor annoyance is that Accordance does not save page setup information with each file. I use the above mentioned page size to maximize what I can fit on a letter sized printout and still be able to read the text at 100% on my screen. Every time I open the Accordance diagram file I have to set the page size.
  3. I'm using Accordance on a Mac and am trying to save the GNT28 or NA28 text as a PDF, but it always changes the alignment of the text so that it's centered. I would like to keep it left justified. Is it possible to do that? I don't know why it would center the text automatically. Thanks.

    Printing Issue (and request)

Posting for a user: I want to print Dt 18:1-20:9 in both JPS and BHS. Two points: 1. When I go to the print menu, I do not get a small version of the page to be printed as I do when printing from, for instance, Safari or Word for Mac (screen shot attached). I cannot therefore see before printing if it will come out as I expect. Please can you upgrade the print menu to include this? 2. The Error: Partly because of the above, I printed page 1 first to check that it is coming out right, then I want to print the 2nd and subsequent pages. However, in this version, if I put that I want to print pages 2-3, (as in the other screen shot), what I got was the FIRST TWO pages but they are numbered 2 and 3! Please could this be corrected as soon as possible? Thank you

    Atlas Printing Woes

I've been making extensive use of the Interactive Atlas as I'm teaching my way through David's life. Each week I put together a custom map showing the locations of the places mentioned in our reading, and print it. (We're not set up for projection in the room where I teach). However I'm really struggling to print off a map that fits on a page and doesn't create overlapping labels. With patience, creativity, and prolific use of the Print to PDF feature, I've managed most weeks. But this week I've hit a wall. I need to print a much "taller" map than usual, from Tyre in the north to Beer-sheba in the south. And the map includes a lot of towns around Jerusalem. I figured out I could print it on legal sized paper this week, but I can't get the window tall enough to do so with the resolution I need to avoid overlapping names around Jerusalem. (I'm working on a 13-inch Macbook Pro) Any ideas? Ultimately what I'd like to see is a more sophisticated ability to select an area to print or copy. Right now, you can select an area and copy it, but once you've selected an area, you can't tweak the boarders of the selection, nor can you select past the edge of the window (i.e. it won't scroll as you select).
