jeff_melton posted a topic in Support and Bug Reports on iOSI've been in conversation with Billy Mitchum from the Accordance Support team over the last few days, and though he's repro'd the issue on his side, he won't forward it on to the developers in-house. Instead, he asked me to open a topic here. The long and the short of it is that I have been successfully using Shortcuts to launch Accordance with a given set of resources since long before Apple bought and renamed Workflow. The generated URI has worked fine through Accordance 3.0.2 under iOS 12.4. My Shortcut generates the same URI under iOS 13/13.1 and iPadOS 13.1, but it does not work correctly under either Accordance 3.0.2/4. Here's an example URI: accord:///NIV11-GK;read?ref=%20Psalm%2012;Proverbs%2017:1-5;1%20Corinthians%209:19-23 Under iOS 12.4, that will open the NIV-GK resource with Psalm 12, Proverbs 17:1-5, and 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 in a single view. Under iOS 13/13.1 and iPadOS 13.1, it simply opens Accordance to whatever the last view was. It seems obvious there's some issue created by the upgrade to iOS 13, but I don't have insight into what Accordance is doing with the URI once it gets there. I can share the Shortcut if need be, but it seems irrelevant, since the output URI is really all we're concerned with. Plus, it'll take some time to get your head around what I'm doing, as it's fairly (and possibly needlessly) complex.
robrecht posted a topic in Support and Bug Reports for AndroidHi, Accordance people! When I try to open the TOC in the Hermeneia commentaries, the Android app freezes up. TOC works fine in the Anchor commentaries. Eventually, at least sometimes, it will unfreeze after a very long time. Only just discovered this accidentally after setting my phone down for a while. Maybe I just need to be more patient? Previously, I would impatiently press the Android back key many times (or press it once and wait a while), and then I could usually get the program to crash, which is not the worst thing that can happen. If it crashes and closes spontaneously or if I get the message, 'Android is not responding, Close, Wait, Send Report and close the program myself, when I reopen the program, it is then in the right place. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and contents several times in multiple configurations of different amounts of resources, but this seems to be an issue with the Hermeneia commentary modules, regardless of how much other stuff I have downloaded. By the way, when I get an "Accordance isn't responding, x Close app, _ Wait, _ Send feedback" message, I have sometimes sent feedback but that seems to be sending logs to Google/Android. I'm not sure if you get those logs. If not, is there another way I should be sending you logs when things go amiss? My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8+, which is a fairly recent and powerful phone. But there is indeed an enormous amount of awesome material in these commentaries so perhaps we all just need to work on the virtue of patience. [/Parenesis]
