  1. Greetings. I'm brand new to Accordance (and Logos too) and loving it so far! But one of the reasons I was excited about Accordance was the "copy as citation" feature that allows copying a citation into a document, simultaneously making a footnote. Of note, I'm using MacOS 10.13.6 and Word for Mac 16.23. Here's what I've done: Enabled my citation options in "preferences" Checked "insert citation as footnote" under the bibliography tab in preferences Copied the text I want to insert using "copy as citation" (CTRL-Command-C on Mac) Pasted the text into word (tried pasting regularly and formatted). I get the citation copied into the main body as it should, but no footnote. I've tried everything I could think of, but it's not working. I am not getting a footnote in Word (or in Scrivener). This does work in Logos but it's pretty clunky there and takes a bunch of extra steps. Copy as bibliography also isn't creating the footnote. Looking at that seems like an older reference here, this seems like it should be doable (copied a screenshot below of the old Accordance page): Is this a bug? Anything I'm missing? Thanks and God Bless!
  2. Hi, I select portion of text in NAC, right-click > Copy As > Bibliography. Paste in Pages — nothing is pasted. Go to Edit menu > Paste — nothing. Try to copy as Citation. Also only selected commentary text is pasted, no Bibliography. The same with NICOT. Accorance 13.1.5. MacOS 11.1.
  3. Hi all. After recently upgrading Accordance and my iMac, I've found I can no longer copy bibliographical information from tools (e.g. commentaries like the BST New Testament series). Previously, I was able to do this with all my tools. Currently running Accordance 13.0.05 and MacOS 10.15.6. If I try to copy the bibliographical information on its own (Copy As > Bibliography), my clipboard remains blank and there's nothing to paste in Pages. I've also tried pasting in Notes, Text Editor and even the search bar on Chrome. There's nothing there. If I try to copy a text from a tool as a citation (Copy As > Citation), I used to get bibliographical information. Now, all I get is the hyperlink to the Accordance reference. I've looked at the bibliography settings, and can't find anything amiss. Settings screenshot attached. Help appreciated. Thanks heaps.
  4. Hello, Dearest Accordance iOS developers: First, just to let you know, I love the work you've done porting Accordance to iOS so much that I've dropped my laptop altogether (passed it on to my wife, actually) and I now ONLY use my iPad. I've known that I would lose some functionality that way, but I haven't really missed anything up until now
  5. Hi, I've discovered the ability to produce a .ris file of my Accordance library. I've also successfully imported this into Zotero. A great feature. However, it would be even cooler if there were a Zotero plugin that could directly interrogate the Accordance database on my PC and keep the lists in sync. This would be very useful indeed. Any thought? Mark
  6. Good day friends, I've been struggling to copy my texts as citation and/bibliography. I've browsed through the forums to try to identify the issue, and it appears that my issue is the inability to activate this function through my preferences. However, I can't find the option of either 'citation' or 'bibliography' in the preference tab to activate this function. Can someone help me? I've attached a screenshot of what I see when I open my preference tab. Any help would be fantastic, thanks!
  7. Is it possible to generate automatically a list of all my Accordance resources, in complete bibliographic form? I named the thread as above because I'm in hopes that this is really a very easy thing to do, and someone will simply tell me how.
  8. The request is to have the “copy as” feature work on Bible as it does on other resources… When using the “copy as” feature with any Bible text …if I choose copy as a citation, I get this (1 Kings 11:4) “In Solomon’s old age, they turned his heart to worship other gods instead of being completely faithful to the LORD his God, as his father, David, had been.” …if I choose copy as bibliography, I get this (1 Kings 11:4) I am not getting this information NLT (2nd ed.) New Living Translation, Second Edition (NLT-SE) Holy Bible, New Living Translation copyright © 1996, 2004 by Tyndale Charitable Trust. Used by permission of Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Wheaton Illinois 60189. All rights reserved. Version 2.3 Note that for other resources, I get all the information When using the “copy as” feature with any other text (i.e. commentary) …if I choose copy as a citation, I get this The Lord told Solomon, it is likely by a prophet, what he must expect for his apostacy. Henry, Matthew, Matthew Henry’s Commentary (Condensed). Accordance electronic ed. Altamonte Springs: OakTree Software, 1996. …if I choose copy as bibliography, I get this Henry, Matthew, Matthew Henry’s Commentary (Condensed). Accordance electronic ed. Altamonte Springs: OakTree Software, 1996.
  9. I love the "copy as citation" feature in Accordance. However, most of the papers I write require MLA formatting. I'm just wondering if there is enough interest to add MLA to the Bibliography choices. ??
