  1. Hello The Analysis didn't work on converted User Tools http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/OSX12/Default.htm#topics/05_dd/convert_user-tool.htm#kanchor453 if they are now regular Tools in 12.0.6. Also on Devotions and Other Books it doesn't work either. I don't have tested it by all 23 categories but it would be great if it's work on all. It would be great if it works on User Tools and Notes, Papers etc... too. Greetings Fabian

    #151) Improved Analytics

If you are brand new to Accordance's Search Analytics (Analyses), consider watching #138) Analyzing Searches first, as it contains more basic information. This week's podcast, #151) Improved Analytics, covers Accordance 12's improvements to these features. They not only feature updated graphics, but allow us to dig deeper into our search results than ever before. We can now zoom and pan graphs, explore interactive Charts and individual Chart segments, triple-click a term in Analysis to see just those occurrences, even click a reference in the Concordance to open it in its own Text pane. Join me (Dr. J) as we highlight these features and other improvements in Accordance 12’s Search Analytics.

    #138) Analyzing Search Results

Here's another updated podcast: [Accordance 11: Intermediate] Now that we’ve completed a word search, what’s next? Analyzing the results, of course! Every copy of Accordance includes a suite of analytical tools: graphs, charts, tables, etc. In this podcast, Dr. J explains each of them—and the kinds of insights we can expect when we use them to investigate our search results. https://vimeo.com/162426834

    Concordance analysis

At present the concordance analysis feature breaks down each lex. If I look for a phrase, I'd like to see the phrases kept together. I think this would make a huge improvement. Thanks!

    Mouse Over in Analysis

Hello It would be cool if the preset lexicon comes if I do a Mouse-Over in the Analysis. Greetings Fabian
  6. The Vocab list we get from the Analysis Window is nice. But as you know, Vocab Books usually give definitions according to different stems. That is also the way professors would like students to memorize. I'm wondering, is it possible to give definitions alongs with the stems, as it is done in vocab books such as Van Pelt& Pratico's Vocabulary Guide and Larry Mitchel's A student's Vocabulary for Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic. If it allow users to edit the database, or let the users to choose user-made database, it would be great.
  7. Is it possible to use the Analysis feature to find themes? For example, the book of Philippians is known for joy. What I'm wondering is if I can look at word frequencies and such to help determining the theme of a book or passage. If it is possible I would appreciate an example to follow.
  8. version 10.2 announcement of new things says you can see syntax tags after doing the analysis of a word. I followed the example of theos with same number of words found, 1317. but when customizing the search for syntax, it does not show those results. Simply says it is "untagged." But I am using GNT-T, same as the example on Accordance website. What am I doing wrong?
  9. I was wondering if I could create a Hebrew Reader... I want to read the first 10 chapters of Genesis and have a screen with definitions of rare words. Right now I do the following: [RANGE Gen 1:1-Gen 10:32] <and> [COUNT 1-10] Then, I run an Analysis and get my basic list of words that occur 1 to 10 times in this range. 1) I would like to see # of occurances in the OT, not in this range 2) I would like the Analysis to return words below a # of occurances in the OT, not this range. Right now, my returned analysis list has lots of words that occur quite often in the OT. Is this possible? Thank you.
