I have a basic Tab question. I like pressing that little + to add a tab, and then I normally select the ESV or whatever I was reading. However, I ALWAYS have the Greek and Hebrew as a parallel. (Not interlinear, as a parallel). Is there a way to set it so that when I open a new tab it opens both a specific Bible AND the Greek or Hebrew as a parallel? Thank you for any help anyone is able to provide. Kristin

When I display the contents of my Accordance Library, Parallels is at the very bottom of my Tools. I would like to re-position it close to the top of the Tools, but it will not budge--it's stuck at the bottom. Why? Many of the Tools I never use; Parallels I use all the time. It would make life easier if I could drag and drop it toward the top of the Tools. To add to the mystery of why Parallels cannot be moved, one of the Accordance tech support staff informs me that actually everything in the Library listing from Parallels on down also cannot be moved. Only items above Parallels can be moved. Again, Why? How about making Parallels movable, just like all of the other Tools? Robert Fowler

I'm using Acc 12.2.2 on Windows 10 on an Asus laptop. For some reason the menu to switch versions in a parallel display text does not work. If I "add a parallel" to select which version I want, that's fine. But when I actually have the parallel open, it won't let me switch between versions. Is something wrong? Thanks, Andy

Sent this query to Oaktree: In my Accordance Library, under Tools, Parallels appears at the very bottom, but I would like to have them appear almost at the top, since I use them so much. However, even though I can click and drag most (all??) Library items up and down to re-position them in the listing of Library items, I cannot move the Parallels item. It seems to be stuck at the bottom. Is there a way to move Parallels toward the top, so that I can get at it more easily? Answer from tech support: Thank you for writing. The Parallels is the default ‘anchor’ of the Tools category of the library and cannot be currently moved. Me: There must be a reason for making Parallels an "anchor" in Tools, but the need for that is not obvious to me. All I know is that to get to the Parallels, which I use all the time, I have to scroll past lots of Tools that I never use. I wish I could 'elevate' Parallels to a prominent position toward the top. Cheers, Robert M. Fowler

Pasting from Accordance into Word for Windows within Parallels
Friarpeabody posted a topic in Mainly Macintosh
I cannot paste text from Accordance to Word for Windows running in Parallels on a Mac. I CAN paste just fine from Accordance into OS X apps, and from other OS X apps into Parallels and vice versa. While I have Word for Mac (which works just fine), I prefer to use the more feature-rich Windows version. Any help getting this resolved would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to the Forums, and this is my first post. Thanks a bunch! I am running: Accordance 11.2.5 OS X 10.11.6 Windows 7 Word 7 Parallels 9 -
I would like to see the option to have the Parallels folder available in the toolbar for easier access. I know I can get there through the library or the amplify button in the toolbar and I really appreciate the fact that there is often more than one way to accomplish what one wants to do in Accordance. This would just make something even easier. Thank you for your consideration. Don Adams

I like to change the default order of folders of Tools in the Library and add dividers to group them the way I like them. But the Parallels folder, which comes last, cannot be moved. I thought it was a bug, but a support person at Accordance informed me that it is made to be this way. Please make the Parallels folder movable like the other ones.

Hi, I'm new to accordance and have just recently discovered Parallels after watching the excellent video by Dr. J. http://www.accordancefiles2.com/podcasts/p28_parallels.m4v When I open the "OT Quotations in NT" parallel for Gen 1:27 as was shown in the video two panes come up. The Add Pane icon (http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/OSX11/content/resources/images/accordancehelpv2/bt-nwpne.gif) does not appear. Since I'm new to this feature and the video shows an older version of accordance. I have a few questions: 1. Is this feature no longer available in Accordance 11? 2. Is this feature missing from the Windows version? 3. Is there a way I could have disabled the Add Pane Icon? 4. Is there another feature/keyboard shortcut to add a pane? I'm using accordance 11.1.1.0 on Windows. One thing I have found is that if I go to preferences I can add the default number of panes to display for any parallel module. This helps and does allows me to see that Gen 5:2, Matt 19:4 and Mark 10:6 are really parallel quotes in the database however this is not a nice as having the button since it forces you to start with a large number of panes just in case there are more than a couple parallel passages. Thanks to anyone who can help. John

Hello I don't know if this make sense to make a module, but I for me it would be nice if I have a Parallels with the Topic: Jesus in the OT. A little bit the opposite of OT in NT. Greetings Fabian
