  1. How about the NIV Cultural Backgrounds Bible - it's available on Olive Tree, but I would much prefer to purchase and use it with Accordance.

    Original NIV Study Bible Notes

From time to time I find myself wanting to go back and check what the study notes on my first study bible said about a particular passage. It's quite impractical to carry that thing around, it would be great to have this available in accordance.

    Anglicised NIV

Is it possible to have an anglicised version of the NIV? It is a pain cutting and pasting the NIV text into readings for Sunday, and then having to go through and check it's the same as our pew Bibles. Thanks
  4. Hello, I have Accordance 10 with the Starter Collection and Accordance Scholars 9 Essential Collection. I notice on my iMac I have more English Texts than on my other devices (Air, iPhone, iPad). I'm particularly interested in having the NIV on my Air as I often prepare sermons on this machine and I prefer to preach from the NIV. However, the NIV does not seem to be available in Easy Install. How can I get the NIV on my laptop?
  5. I noticed that Bible Gateway on-line has removed the NIV 1984 edition. I am not a fan of the NIV 2011 edition. Will Zondervan require Accordance to remove from our libraries the NIV 1984 edition? thanks Rick Conklin Wichita, KS
  6. When I click on the NIV link in an entry in the Mounce Greek or Hebrew dictionaries I get the message 'This hyperlink cannot be shown because the module "NIV11-GK" is not installed. For the NIV I have NIV11 installed, but not NIV11-GK; however, I do have NIV-G/K installed (the 1984 version of the NIV, with G/K numbers). Is there a reason why the Mounce dictionaries do not provide links to the NIV-G/K module? Are there other modules with Strongs or G/K numbers that do not have links? Is there a way for me to link to my NIV text from these dictionaries?
  7. New to Accordance... When I look at the products and the upcoming release of NIV11/GK it says, "available within a package". What exactly do these messages mean? Does this mean our current package will update with this version when available? Or, does this mean it is only available for purchase with the purchase of a package other than the ones bought already? Also, I saw mention of trying to get rights for the old NIV 84' edition. How exactly do we as users get a hold of the old edition if we want it for our libraries? Thanks for your time, Marc
